Night at the Museum
Ever wonder what lies behind closed doors at the LSU Museum of Natural Science? “Night at the Museum” will give you a glimpse into the specimen collections and cutting edge research happening at the LSUMNS. “Night at the Museum” is a FREE event geared towards a general audience. Each “night” we will focus on a specific LSUMNS research collection (i.e. birds, mammals, fish, etc). Scientists working with that collection will give short engaging talks about their research and then take guests on a behind the scenes tour* of their focus collection. You will also have the opportunity to view specimens up close and meet graduate & undergraduate students working at the museum. The event schedule can be viewed below. Join us for an experience you won’t forget!
